An important fundraising vehicle for AIM is the recurring event Quem Canta Ajuda Criança. The essence of the event is to turn a Jam Session for music enthusiasts into a big charity party for the seeing public, in which the totality of the funds raised are destined to the remuneration of teachers and the buying of musical instruments used in the classes delivered to the children and adolescents helped by AIM. In other words: good music, good company and lots of fun aimed at a single goal: help others!Quem Canta Ajuda CriançaThe first edition of Quem Canta Ajuda Criança was a huge success! Quem Canta Ajuda Criança 3Following the success of its first and second editions, Quem Canta Ajuda Criança 3 got an awesome upgrade. We received a very special guest to jam with us: honorable Xandão from O Rappa. He attended our jam playing amazing solos in Hey Joe. Both guitars used by Xandão and his guitar tech Alexandre Duayer, customized by Fabio Ema, were donated for our charity auction, towards AIM. The funds raised during the event were fully utilized in implementing AIM’s musical initiation and education programs. QCAC3 happened in October 2012, at Na Mata Café. Quem Canta Ajuda Criança 4The fourth edition of Quem Canta Ajuda Criança began with a live presentation of a Kids Band formed by School of Rock and AIM students. They played Legião Urbana’s Que País É Esse and Raul Seixas’ Metamorfose Ambulante. Our special guest in 2014 was the illustrious Fernando Deluqui, RPM's guitarist. He played in the last jam with angry solos in Chuck Berry’s Johnny B. Goode and RPM’s Rádio Pirata.
